Carpe diem. Seize the day, boys. Make your lives extraordinary.

~Robin Williams (Dead Poets Society)

How hard can life be? Is there any way we could make life easier?

I honestly cannot answer those questions, but there’s something that could help us survive along this path we call life.

What is passion and why am I writing about it?

Every one would have their own meaning for it, but passion for me, is that fierce emotion that has kept me going for a lot of time.

But does it really matter, in a world where money runs things and we run after money, passion could be forgotten.

You’re only given a little spark of madness. You mustn’t lose it.
~Robin Williams

There’s this small piece that I wrote, hope it helps!

I’ve been here for so long,
Writing about where we as humans belong.
For a while now, I’ve been singing this song,
Without knowing about the things around.
Naive, I may have been,
But, I was just following my dream.
Spreading the word of passion, spreading the word of love,
Many did try before me, but none of us want to evolve.
Does passion really matter?
I have been asking myself this for some time!
I don’t know why it took too long for me to answer,
For without it, my life here would really have been a disaster!

Everyday, I wake up and start my day,
I only see stories along the way.
I can see people, who are stuck with a routine,
I can see kids enjoying their first day as a teen.
I can see an old couple experiencing a movie, without getting offended,
And I can definitely see the capable ones staying silent.
Why is it, we are suffering this intolerable violence?
It could be physical, it could be mental, lord knows what.
May be, it could be because, we have stopped caring about art.
Can passion change humans?
I still remember, a kid from my school, who danced with only one hand.
His passion definitely brought mine back to life,
And only thing that did bother me was, how much did he have to strive!

I sit down and watch the news,
All I see is bunch of people screaming, just for some views.
Defaming anyone they feel is guilty,
While they just randomly, sip tea and coffee.
Deconstructing rhymes and lines just to find something that is not right,
Well, don’t you read the disclaimer, that it’s a work of fiction, and not every word should be right!
If they do love critiquing, how good would they be in writing?
Amazing I believe, for they can create a fake story, which can destroy a man’s history.
I look around and think,
In this situation, can passion really sustain?
If it doesn’t, the work of many generations would be in vain.
For I can assure that passion can bring the change,
For the voice of it, can reach ears and eyes of even those who aren’t in range.

A blind can feel art. A deaf can feel the music. A dumb can sing.
For there is nothing that can stop the passion within.
It’s like like the engine of the soul,
It’s the only thing that can help one reach their goal.
Getting up is never easy after they are down,
But when one has the passion,
They could easily win that crown.
But in reality, no one would want it,
For they know, they aren’t in for that.
I do say, passion can make every one a better person,
For it did teach me, the most important of lessons,
All you have to do in life, is keep going,
Even when you feel nothing has been moving.

How long has it been since I was away? Five months. That’s been a bit too long now, hasn’t it?

Let’s hope the next post doesn’t take this much time!

Do let me know your thoughts on Passion until then!

You know what music is? God’s little reminder that there’s something else besides us in this universe, harmonic connection between all living beings, everywhere, even the stars.

Be a child!

Hello again, I’m not gonna spoil your mood, but today is Monday..
If this fact has given you a positive or no feeling, then you have lived your life pretty well..
If not, then I’m afraid you’ve been living your life in a wrong way..

Well, there is a way, you can convert this feeling into a positive one, and that is, living like a child..
No, I’m not asking you to stop your work.. I want you to build your character based on a child..
The above picture is from The Legend Of Korra, the guy in the pic was destined to save the world when he was only 12. What’s interesting is he kept the child in him alive even after many years..
A child is a joyous human. A child expresses his/her love without showing any sign of greed.. Children are innocent.. They make mistakes and learn from them. They make new friends easily..
They fight and they forgive each other easily, and they forget about it and live happily..
They laugh, they smile, they don’t care what the world thinks of them, they just play around having fun, they love and live their dream..
They dream high, and have their goals fixed, but as they get older they are hit with a giant brick and are forced not to dream high and their dreams are shattered as they grow up.. They always worry “what the society would think of them when they fail” and so, they settle for low..
And one of them might be you..
You are a beautiful creation.. You are born to be awesome..
As Steve Jobs said:

We’re here to make a dent in the universe, otherwise why else even be here..

Children are imaginative and creative by nature, they love to innovate, they love to explore.. The problem is, they are not given the freedom to express their feeling or to develop their talent..
You can’t just fix a routine stating a child has to do only this at this time, and destroy their life.. Instead, help them in digging their talents out, see what they are happy doing, see what he/she wants to become.. As Albert Einstein once stated:

Imagination is more important than knowledge.”

When you realise a child’s true capability, you might wonder what happened to the child that once existed in you.. Let me remind you, that child is still alive, you can bring it back to life.. All you need is some guts to do it..
A child would never bother what day it is..

When you do that, just remind yourself on a Sunday night, “Tomorrow’s Monday!” and see what your reaction is..

I’ll end with a great expression stated by William Wordsworth in one of his poems:

“The child is father of the man.”

Will be back with an awesome post.. Till then just LIVE yOUR LIFE!! 🙂
