An Unfulfilling Circle

Just another day of toil, it was for that guy,

Years of working hard, he had lost his hope that one day, this life would bring him peace.

Waking up and following that routine life,

To catch that scheduled rail, every day, he would strive!

Just another day of this charades he thought this would be,

But things never remain the same, and that day was one such instance,

Listening to the customized playlist of his, he continued his day.

Observing the entire crowded space, he could wonder what their stories would be.

Someone reading that fiction, that was a major hit,

While some listening to the old classics!

Gossip around the air, among that group of three,

Some kid, trying to get free, because of the unending curiosity.

And sometimes he could see familiar faces, living the same life.

Looking at this, did lighten his heart, as he starts his day,

Reaches his workspace and greets the ones he knew,

As the day kept going, he did feel exhausted,

Never was a point in his career, was his work appreciated,

By the end of the day, he kept asking himself, why he entered this field,

He just had his fake smile on him, and got up as he thought he was done for the day,

Well, the 9-5 job did think otherwise, and he had to stay back,

The energy to continue though, he did lack.

And finally, when he did leave, he looked around, there was not a single soul around him that he could see.

The walk back to get that rail, made him feel a bit frustrated,

A long weekend ahead it was, and the crowd did multiply,

He felt, how long would he let the job kill him like this

And this led him to again observe the things around him,

Looking around and guessing every one’s story,

He soon started to realise,

His life was far better than those whose life was filled with lies,

His heart, though broken, still had hope.

He could do better in life for he had so much more of strength and source that some did lack.

All he had to do was take that leap of faith,

But, he never did, for he lived in his comfort zone,

All this time, he just wanted to play it safe,

Forgetting his dreams to be free from things around him,

Yet giving his life a meaning!

All he wanted in life was to inspire someone,

So, he went back to his base,

And picked up his weapon that defined him truly,

He cleared the dust of the constant pressure of the society,

And started to write,

The feeling of purity started to flow back to him,

He wrote something of that sort after a while,

While writing, his eyes did fill, while he had a small smile,

For he knew, this is something people would like.

And he did not stop that night,

He went on for hours,

Until he finished his piece

That eventually gave his heart some peace!

All it took, was just another bad day,

And some stories to get him back on his way.

An unfulfilling circle, life is. We run and run and run only to eventually return at same spot we started, while expecting things to change.

It is often at such stages of life, people tend to forgo their happiness for the sake of things that matter for only some time, but I feel, life would be way better, if they did stick to what they love doing.

Hoping people realise the need of art. Let me know your thoughts on this and share it. On a side note, really grateful for the love I’ve recieved this year, with only a limited number of posts, I have recieved the highest number of views this year, and I appreciate this! Thank you.

I will be back with another great post, until then, #LIVEyOURLIFE !

Life and Passion

I’ve been here for so long,
Writing about where we as humans belong.
For a while now, I’ve been singing this song,
Without knowing about the things around.
Naive, I may have been,
But, I was just following my dream.
Spreading the word of passion, spreading the word of love,
Many did try before me, but none of us want to evolve.
Does passion really matter?
I have been asking myself this for some time!
I don’t know why it took too long for me to answer,
For without it, my life here would really have been a disaster!

Everyday, I wake up and start my day,
I only see stories along the way.
I can see people, who are stuck with a routine,
I can see kids enjoying their first day as a teen.
I can see an old couple experiencing a movie, without getting offended,
And I can definitely see the capable ones staying silent.
Why is it, we are suffering this intolerable violence?
It could be physical, it could be mental, lord knows what.
May be, it could be because, we have stopped caring about art.
Can passion change humans?
I still remember, a kid from my school, who danced with only one hand.
His passion definitely brought mine back to life,
And only thing that did bother me was, how much did he have to stive!

I sit down and watch the news,
All I see is bunch of people screaming, just for some views.
Defaming anyone they feel is guilty,
While they just randomly, sip tea and coffee.
Deconstructing rhymes and lines just to find something that is not right,
Well, don’t you read the disclaimer, that it’s a work of fiction, and not every word should be right!
If they do love critiquing, how good would they be in writing?
Amazing I believe, for they can create a fake story, which can destroy a man’s history.
I look around and think,
In this situation, can passion really sustain?
If it doesn’t, the work of many generations would be in vain.
For I can assure that passion can bring the change,
For the voice of it, can reach ears and eyes of even those who aren’t in range.

A blind can feel an art. A deaf can feel the music. A dumb can sing!
For there is nothing that can stop the passion within.
It’s like like the engine of the soul,
It’s the only thing that can help one reach their goal.
Getting up is never easy after they are down,
But when one has the passion,
They could easily win that crown.
But in reality, no one would want it,
For they know, they aren’t in for that.
I do say, passion can make every one a better person,
For it did teach me, the most important of lessons,
All you have to do in life, is keep going,
Even when you feel nothing has been moving.

I’ve been here for so long,
I don’t know how I ended being this strong!
I’ve seen things around me falling apart,
Calling me towards my unhappy past!
Loud, those noises may have been,
But, there is a lot throughout my journey, I have seen.
Holding on, staying strong, I know it’ll help me in going far!
All by my side was that one thing, the kept me hooked to that star!
My love for poetry, immeasurable it may be,
All I know, it made me believe in me!
All I know, it did make me free!
All it did, was prove how passion does matter in shaping in a destiny!

Everyday, all I pray, is for a future that I always wanted to see
A world where people rise above what they have been groomed to be,
More than a puppet, that is stuck in a routine,
Chasing something that they have created an illusion of in their dream!

Hope this poem helps you in any way! Oh, one person who could be an inspiration in this sense could easily be Beethoven. His love for music never left to cease even after his hearing ability began to deteriorate!

Do drop in your thoughts on this poem and will be back with another post soon! Like and share it, if you feel life here can get better!

Are we really living?

Trapped in my own soul,
Is this what I thought was my goal!
Certainly not, for doing that would only make me a fool!
Then where was the point I went wrong,
That’s a question for which an answer I’ve been wanting to find for long,
Alas, only if I had been strong.
While I say all these, all I can remember are those times,
Where all those dreams were young and everything seemed nice!
All I am left with, is a land filled with lies!
Running down the streams,
The irresistible feeling on my face, when I’m hit with a breeze!
Fighting all day and none getting offended,
Such days, now are just another dead end!

Trapped in my own soul,
Can’t find a single space, to get out of this black hole!
Everyday, I’ve been asking where I had gone away!
Yet, I still remember those days, when my imagination would go stray
And that would always make my day,
All I can see today is butts of cigarettes mixed with ash in the tray!
Coming back home while the clocks struck seven,
Delicious appetizers made hot by my mum, would always remind me of a time that was truly a heaven!
Those were some days, when innocence was a great trait,
Happiness and love never had any template!

Can I get back my childhood,
For now that I stand where my parents stood,
Looking up to my parents,
Today I realise all that they’ve done for me,
Has a value that no one can ever see!
I only hope people would realise this too,
Looking through these characters and illusions!
Living in fear from the senseless superstitions!

Today I fear for every time I try to rhyme,
For getting laughed at is a feeling worse than getting caught for a crime,
But as a child, I would have said things without any filter,
And everything would would be straight from the heart, that I always said without any stutter!
Even if the world laughed, I’d be proud that I had spread laughter,
For every thing around me, makes me want to slaughter! Can I get back that childhood of mine,
Where all I had was love and smile!
By the time you read this, I’d be away
Where there’s an everlasting day!

Been trapped in my own soul,
All that happened because, I never let the child in me become whole!
At that moment I knew,
And I say this to you;
If you had to live for someone,
Live for that child in you!
For he hoped a great deal of you!

In the end, keeping that child in us alive could help us survive!

Let me know your thoughts on this! Will be back with another great post!

Time Changes Nothing

Time changes everything. Have you ever heard this?

If you are living in this world, there is 95% chance you would have heard it.

Now, the real question is, does it really change everything?

My answer is a total no. Time changes nothing. As I have already mentioned in some of my previous posts, time is an illusion. It is just a thing we created for us to operate efficiently.

So, why does a thing which is a complete myth, become popular?

We are lazy. I mean, seriously, look at it this way; people love to judge and criticise, but not all are professional critics, so we end up jumping to conclusions.

Jack and James may have been fighting for a long time. People end up saying, in time they will stop fighting. No time will bring anyone closer, only communication will.

We, as a society have grown to this myth and this stereotypical answer.

Exhibit A:

Jenna: Hey Gina, how are you?

Gina: Not good, a bit depressed.

Jenna: Chill, time will heal everything.

Nope, the appropriate answer would be, to ask and listen to the cause and the problem and help them get through with it.

Exhibit B:

Vince: Hey man, how’s things with Rey? I heard you had a huge fight.

Hugh: Not good man, I don’t want to talk to Rey.

Vince: Chill bruh, times change, things change, life will become better.

Again, nope. The better response would be, “What’s wrong, let me help you out? Or at least let me talk to Rey. Only when people communicate, matters can solve.”

It’s as simple as it can get. We have become selfish and lazy. Most of the humanity today is more concerned with the cash in their hand, than the bread on their plate.

We act as if everything is fine with the world. Thinking time will heal everything. In this case, it would, by killing us all. I may be harsh, but if that’s what going to get everyone to work for the world, so be it.

Media would lie to us, society would lie to us, education system may lie to us, but never forget the fact that, we have eyes and ears too. We can see the level at which humanity has fallen to today (Do I really need to tell you all the problems we are facing today) . If people still think, we are fine. Let them live in this myth. But we need to stop living a lie.

Time won’t change anything unless we actually want to change.

Some may ask, “What can a person without power and money do?”

We are the same sane people that unnecessarily make unwanted topics and people trend and popular. I wonder, if only someone were to add a bit of insanity in each of us, we may actually do something.

For the basics, start small:

  • Educate people of their worth.
  • Remind them of their true power.
  • Stop complaining and fighting amongst each other.
  • Open your minds and actually see what the problems of the society are.
  • Contribute your part towards building a better future.

Thank you for reading. Do share your views in the comments section below and share the message so everyone can live a life that they are worth of.

I’ll be back with another amazing post until then, #LIVEyOURLIFE and #StandUpForHumanity and help people by #LiftingThemHigher!

Death is inevitable

Why are we so afraid to die?
While, truly, the whole concept of reality is a lie.
It’d be a simple task to run away,
And it seriously takes huge courage to stay.
Yes, sometimes, life may seem to be dead,
And we fail to realise there’s still an unconquered path ahead.
Sometimes, failure breaks our heart into pieces,
But one who sits idly and mourns over it is the one who actually losses.
Crawl. Walk. Run. Fly. Fall.
Make mistakes, and stand tall.
People may stalk, talk and may also laugh,
Just let them be!
Because, there’s more to you than just being a gossip queen.
That haven’t seen the hell we were raised in,
They won’t realise the pain that we have survived in.
A dead life may seem a better option than hell most of the time,
But well, why not love and serve and get the heaven we truly deserve.
Death ain’t a thing to be scared of,
Like life, it’s a step into a new era,
Not yet discovered and not yet seen.
Maybe that’s why we find death terrifying.
The time we get in between life and death is minimal and equal to most of them,
So, why not do something great and remain a legend,
Instead of being a mystery in the unsearched and unrecorded history.
Death is inevitable, so don’t frighten,
Just live your life and spread peace, because in reality life is beyond what we can imagine.

GRATITUDE- The only thing that matters

“Develop an attitude of gratitude, and give thanks for everything that happens to you, knowing that every step forward is a step toward achieving something bigger and better than your current situation.”
~Brain Tracy
 monday-quotes-gratitude-quotes-3

Hello everyone, I hope everyone is doing fantastic.

Gratitude! When was the last time you ever said a thank you to anyone? Probably, just now or even months back or you might not remember. The reason I’m asking this question is because many have confused the term ‘gratitude’ to just saying the word ‘Thanks’ or ‘Thank you’, but that is not gratitude. Gratitude refers to the state of being thankful, when you are really grateful to any person, sometimes even the words ‘thank you’ would seem very small. It is not enough that you say the words thank you, you must feel it!

Sometimes, you might not want to show gratitude, at that time too, I encourage you to at least thank the person, because you might not know what that person has been going through in his life. A small ‘thank you’ might make them happier than you can imagine.

Gratitude is actually helpful for you. Here are few scientifically proven facts of Gratitude
1.Gratitude opens the door to more relationships.

2. Gratitude improves physical and psychological health.

3. Gratitude enhances empathy and reduces aggression.

4.Grateful people sleep better.

5.Gratitude improves self-esteem.

6.Gratitude increases mental strength.

It is stated in The Secret, “Gratitude is a powerful process for shifting your energy and bringing more of what you want into your life. Be grateful for what you already have and you will attract more good things.”

So, if you are selfish, be grateful for yourself, if you are selfless, be grateful for others. ‘Gratitude’ is the only thing that matters.

“Gratitude is the sign of noble souls.”
~Aesop

“When you are grateful, you are just thanking for everything you have, and the more you are thankful for something, you’ll end up attracting more of it!”

Crazy, isn’t it?

Complaining is just opposite of gratefulness;

“When you complain, you forget to be aware of all the blessings you have already been receiving..”

“‘Thank you’ is the best prayer that anyone could say. I say that one a lot. Thank you expresses extreme gratitude, humility, understanding.”
~Alice Walker
I would love to tell you more about gratitude, but sometimes amazing things come in small packages, don’t they?
So, I’ll be back with another amazing post, until then, as I always say, just LIVE yOUR LIFE! 🙂
